Tucked away on Great Island in County Wexford, The Garden Suite at Kilmokea offers a rare blend of history, comfort and natural beauty. Once part of the original 18th-century estate, this beautifully restored stone appartment now provides elegant self-catering accommodation for up to four guests.
Inside, you’ll find a stunning open-plan living area with a vaulted ceiling. Once the grain store, it is now the perfect space to cook, dine and relax together. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, while large windows fill the space with garden views and natural light.
Two individually styled bedrooms with bath and shower ensuite offer attractive views of the Walled Gardens at Kilmokea. The 'Iris' master bedroom has a bay window looking out over the Iris and Rose quarter garden. The 'Clemitis' twin room looks out towards the 'Peacock Topiary' at the top of the main drive. They provide comfort and privacy for families or groups. Soft linens, deep mattresses and thoughtful touches throughout ensure a restful stay.
Step outside and explore Kilmokea’s celebrated gardens — seven acres of woodland walks, walled gardens and a tranquil potager. Guests can also enjoy access to the Manor’s facilities, including an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, tennis court and croquet lawn.
