Our lovely Oakwell Holiday Village was originally a substantial farm & farm buildings as far back as the 1800's. We have integrated the old farm buildings into the heart of the holiday village. We have tried to maintain as much of the traditional character as possible. This land & property has been passed down through generations and it is due to it's stunning views and pretty landscapes that we decided to mould it into holiday accommodation and share this magical little place with you! Why Oakwell???...the property is surrounded by oak trees and a quirky little traditional well can also be found on the property.

Oakwell Holiday Village is located on the outskirts of the beautiful heritage town of Ramelton, along a little country road known as Ballylin. A short walk will take you to the shores of Lough Swilly where you can stroll along the stoney beach and enjoy the fresh sea air. You are in the heart of the Donegal countryside so expect to see a few dairy cows during your stay!

There is much to see and explore in this stunning area of Donegal so take the time to explore all that is on offer. If you do happen to loose your way or need guidance just ask the locals...they are a very friendly bunch and will be happy to take the time to stop and chat :-)

Blow-up mattresses are provided for all bell tents. Bed options are not available.

Bell tents can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children under the ages of 12 years.

Please note the following times for use of the communal hot tub and sauna at Oakwell holiday village, The only cottages with private hot tubs are 'Inch View' and 'Silver Birch' cottage.

- From 18:00 until 21:00, during the months of June, July and August

- From 18:00 until 21:00 on Fridays and Saturdays only, during the month's May and September

For requests at other times please contact the host directly.

With regards to the hot tubs and sauna, they are available all year round and are bookable from 9 am- 11 pm
