We dont live in Donegal but stay here every chance we get. There is so much for us to do as a family - we frequently go surfing, kayaking, cliff jumping, rock pool fishing, dog walking, beach combing, the list is endless. Bundoran is an absolute paradise for surfers. Many of our guests end up returning time and again, we love returning guests and will always try and offer a deal or discount for repeat customers.

Sandy Cove is perfectly located in the heart of Bundoran, with stunning views of the beach and ocean. The recent renovation was carried out by my wifes interior design company. Much of the artwork is locally inspired, with the shells being collected from the beach. We use the apartment with our family whenever its available, it was entirely designed as a home from home rather than just a holiday let. If your kids wish to bring a games console, there is a spare HDMI lead plugged in and ready to go. High speed internet, youtube and netflix can be enjoyed on the 50" 4k TV. A travel cot is not at the property but can be arranged on request at no extra cost - just get in touch in advance and we can sort this out.

Almost everything is walking distance from the apartment, we often spend a few days without even taking the car out. If there is anything particular you want local advise on, please dont hesitate to ask. As you look towards the ocean from the apartment, on the right of the beach you will see a path heading up the cliffs. Its known as The Rougey Walk and is absolutely stunning, breath taking scenary. Its lit up all the way so can be walked anytime, there is a good concrete path all the way so its suitable for everyone. Its not a very long walk, it brings you up to the Fairy Bridges which have to be seen to be believed and then onto Tullan Strand beach. There is benches to sit and enjoy the sunsets or watch the surfers below. Even if you are not a keen walker, you shouldnt leave Bundoran without seeing it - many of the pictures in the apartment were taken on this walk.
