This is a beautiful cottage on the grounds of our own home, with wonderful views of the Arra hills allowing for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Suitable for families, solo travellers,keen fishermen or groups of friends (not a party house). Approx 2km from our local village of Dromineer and Lough Derg with great amenities. Ideally located 50 minutes from Shannon Airport and 2 hours from Dublin airport. It is located on the grounds of our family home with 2 large dogs onsite. It is shared access to the garden as the dogs have free roam of the property.
We are a family of 5, 2 large dogs and a cat and would love to share our countryside space with holiday visitors and tourists. I am available on site most evenings but our guests privacy is of utmost importance to us.
Located in the Lakeland’s Lough Derg approximately 2km from Dromineer village with fantastic amenities including The Whiskey Still pub/restaurant and Ritual sauna. Dromineer also boasts Lough Derg yacht club which hosts an annual regatta to be proud of. On the water activities include SUP (Stand Up Paddling), sailing, cruising, canoeing and fishing while on dry land we have some of the best walking routes in Ireland. From the linear routes of the Lough Derg Way to the looped walks dotted around the Lakelands Lough Derg, you can enjoy magnificent scenery and sample delicious local food en route. It’s time for you to visit!! This is a quiet rural area so having your own car is essential. Parking space provided.
