The property is elevated 100 metres from Mulroy Bay with fantastic seaviews and surrounding rugged countryside. The view is ever-changing as the tides goes in and out. You can walk from the cottage to the sea through private lands in a few minutes.

The cottage is a 100 metres away from any other buildings or residence. You can walk or drive around this very scenic location with many sandy beaches and hills to climb. The location has pubs,restaurants, hotels within 10 minutes drive. There are 3 championship golf courses 10 minutes drive from the cottage at" The Rosapenna Golf Complex " The "Singing Pub" which has a brilliant restaurant is just a mile up the road. The famous Murder Hole Beach is just 2 miles down the road. The beautiful Tra na Rossan beach is half a mile away. The famous Atlantic Drive with some fantastic scenery is 200 yards up the road from the cottage. The seaside village of Downings ( 2 miles away )is a hub of activity during the Summer months. It has a beautiful blue flag very safe beach. There are many different types of water activities going on ( Surfing,Sailing ,Paddle Boarding, Water skiing etc) The village has great hotels pubs and restaurants which also provides great evening and night entertainment for all ages. On the outskirts of the village you can visit the Magherbeg Leisure Centre which has a heated swimming pool, a kids pool and a fully equipped gym. The beautiful Ocean View Restaurant is also part of the complex. Just 2 miles up the road from Downings is the newly refurbished Carrigart Hotel under new management. This hotel is well worth a visit for its great food, accommodation and entertainment. Just 15 minutes drive away is the famous Old Glen Bar and Restaurant . Horse riding can be arranged at the nearby Carrigart Riding Stables. Boat trips for fishing, diving or visiting offshore islands can be arranged locally. You can drive across the Harry Blaney Bridge to the Fanad peninsula and visit the famous Fanad Light House. You can visit Glenveagh Castle and National Park ( half an hour drive from the cottage) which is very popular with tourists. Doe Castle is also open to tourists 15 minutes drive away.
