The Oystercatcher Lodge is located on the old Market Square in the centre of Carlingford. Ideally located so that all of the attractions Carlingford has to offer are a short walk away.
Our town centre location allows our guests to enjoy the beauty and atmosphere of our busy little village while having the ability to step inside, close the door and relax in one of our spacious and comfortable rooms.
Each room has views of the Cooley mountains, free WiFi and free private parking. We offer well appointed room-only accommodation in the village centre.
All our rooms have cable TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite shower rooms with free toiletries, hairdrying and ironing facilities. Most rooms are equipped with a cooler and a microwave to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Our new greenway allows visitors to meander along the shore of Carlingford Lough and all the way to Newry along the Newry Ship Canal. Other attractions such as The Titanic Centre, The Boyne Valley and The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum are less than an hour's drive away.
For golfing enthusiasts, Greenore Golf Club is just a few kilometers away while Royal County Down, County Louth (Baltray), Seapoint, and Conchra Wood are all nearby.
SkyPark, windsurfing, laser games or rock climbing at Carlingord Adventure Centre is just a few metres away. Guests can also enjoy hill walking or sailing or hire a boat to go sea fishing.
