Only 20 minutes from Galway City, Weir Haven is a picturesque thatched country house with luxurious, stylish interiors.
The house is furnished with carefully selected antiques, designer fabrics and objects d’art. The calm and beautiful interiors with superb views of the pretty cottage gardens and the Weir estuary. along with the quiet country charm set the scene for a truly memorable stay.
Upstairs there are extra-spacious bedrooms, which are individually styled each with private en-suite bathroom, king-size bed, settee, easy chairs and flat-screen TV. Guest enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast hamper in their own kitchenette.
On arrival you will sense its magical and soothing atmosphere. The Unique fairy tale design of the house with its curved thatched roof, eyebrow windows and climbing roses,delights all of our visitors whilst the charming cottage gardens complete this oasis of peace. The house has a spacious drawing room, which offers stunning views. The gardens include mature trees, shrubs, and climbing roses. Several furnished terraces have stunning views of the Weir Estuary, across to Moran's of the Weir Oyster Cottage.
Weir Haven is situated in it's own private grounds in a quiet area only 20 minutes from Galway City.
Clarinbridge which is famous for it's Oyster Festival is close by as is Moran's Oyster Cottage, Tyrone Castle, Kinvara (10KM) and the Burren. Shannon airport is only 40 minutes away by car.
