Luxurious double room, separate entrance, WC/shower in a 120-yrs old stone building (32 stone steps); very elaborate “Diana’s Breakfast” combining East & West dishes; free Wi-Fi, electric bed-heaters (in winter); Daily cleaning; Panoramic terrace; 24/7 Access to the main living and dining hall; free kitchen use; free laundry service. Please note that we have two cats on the premises and that we feed other stray cats on the balcony (for potential allergic visitors). B&B is a non-smoking area (smoking is only possible outside on the balcony). As we have only ONE unit and as we believe in weaving personal contacts with our visitors, you will be the only guests here for the duration of your stay! Re Value Added Tax for Israeli citizens: Because of bookkeeping reasons, Israelis are kindly advised to always send us a message before making a final booking.
Over 30 yrs of experience in German/Hebrew/English translation and simultaneous interpretation. Accompanying high-rank politicians and delegations on official (and sometimes confidential) tours and missions, live and online interpreting international conferences. Former architect and architectural historian, lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, who lived abroad for many years and runs the B&B together with his lovely helping son. Very experienced and caring host, German, Hebrew and English speaking, lots of helpful and practical hints, help with developing tailor-made tour schedules re Jerusalem as well as the West Bank (Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jericho etc.). Info about cultural events in the city and much more...
Within 10 min. walk of the Old City (both Jaffa and Damascus Gates), main tourist attractions, downtown Jerusalem (Main Post Office, Town Hall, restaurants, shops); extremely close to many bus lines (incl. the Arab buses that go to Ramallah, Bethlehem, Mt. of Olives etc.) as well as to the light rail. Almost every important place can be easily reached by foot. Absolutely no need to rent a car! Lavishly decorated apartment, very art oriented, and original paintings; renovated Arab style stone house, arched windows in the historic, picturesque, very central and absolutely quiet neighborhood of Musrara.
