Originally built in 1856, 11 Monteviot was built by a British gentleman called Mr. Kerr for his wife. Flash forward to today and this luxury self-catering homestay is a beguiling melange of creative style and romantic ideologies. Sat upon a tiny little town called Kharsang-land of the white orchids, the property offers gorgeous views of the tea garden below. It has large windows and balconies opening straight out onto the garden with breathtaking views of the snowy peaks of Kangchedzonga & the Balasun river.
Please note: We have a friendly dog on the property. If you're uncomfortable around dogs, kindly refrain from booking.
We are not a hotel but an experience that keeps changing each time you visit us. We do not offer hotel services or 24/7 reception although we are here for you any time of the day. Moreover, our visitors and guests are expected to be respectful of our community members including helpers, staff, locals and friends, to be a mindful housemate, and to be socially engaged.
