Anand Niwas Homestay is a peaceful, spacious 1965-built home in Central Bhowali, designed for families, groups, and long-stay guests. Unlike a standard stay, it offers two private 1-BHK apartments side by side that can be booked together or separately, giving you more privacy and flexibility than a typical 2BHK.
Each apartment includes:
A bright double bedroom with natural light
A private living room with a sofa-cum-bed for 2 extra guests
A fully equipped kitchen for home-style cooking
A modern washroom with hot shower, towels, and toiletries
A private veranda or balcony to enjoy mountain and farmland views
Guests also enjoy a shared backyard (bonfires, evening tea, or stargazing) and a private terrace (on request) for small gatherings.
The property balances heritage charm with modern comforts: Wi-Fi, workspace, parking, tea/coffee supplies, fresh linen, and thoughtful extras many stays skip.
Optional services: guided treks, local tours, and pick-up/drop arrangements. Anand Niwas is more than a homestay — it’s your serene base near Nainital (11 km), Bhimtal Lake (11 km), Sattal (7 km), and Kainchi Dham Neem Karoli Baba Ashram (7 km). When Bhowali quiets down at night, the setting feels magical.
I am a business and marketing consultant with over two decades of experience in the luxury, lifestyle, and hospitality sector. My career has taught me the value of service, attention to detail, and how the smallest touches can turn a trip into a lasting memory.
Anand Niwas is close to my heart — it’s the home my family built in 1965, and hosting here allows me to share both its history and the calm of Kumaon with guests from around the world. Over the years, I’ve welcomed families, spiritual seekers visiting Kainchi Dham, nature lovers exploring Nainital and Bhimtal, and digital nomads who enjoy the peace and modern comforts of this space.
Outside of hosting, I love exploring local culture, food, and hidden trails. That curiosity often helps me share insider recommendations — whether it’s a temple trek, a quiet lakeside walk, or the best spot for a sunset view. Many guests tell me these tips become their favorite part of the trip.
My inspiration for hosting is simple: to create an experience that goes beyond accommodation. At Anand Niwas, my goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, cared for, and truly at home in the Himalayas, free to enjoy Kumaon with a sense of ease and discovery.
Bhowali is known as the gateway to Kumaon — a quiet yet strategic town that connects you to Nainital, Bhimtal, Sattal, Almora, Mukteshwar, and Ranikhet. Guests love that markets, cafés, and taxi stands are within walking distance, while famous spots are just a short drive away.
