In the heart of the city, this noise proof, furnished apartment (80M2) is cozy for 4 with 2 separate bedrooms & one bathroom. Though LOCATED ON THE THIRD FLOOR ( No Lift) It is easy to climb. For seniors who cannot climb we can make some adjustments. Many young families & students find it very economical, practical & easy to tour Goa with this property as its base. An extra mattress is available for a spare guest on request. Big hallroom. The bedrooms are air conditioned & a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for young families who want to see Goa on a budget holiday. Close to the station , & bus services to anywhere in Goa.
We are a Goan couple that love to travel & meet new people. We are proud of our culture & would be happy to have you over for a cup of tea & a chat to share our heritage with you. we have lived in Goa all our lives & will give you some pointers on what to do & see when you are here. As much or as little as the guests would like. We live in our ancestral home nearby, and are always happy to have a chat or a drink and we love to get to know our guests, but would never intrude if they want their privacy.
Margao (also known as Madgaon) is the capital of South Goa, a busy – at times traffic-clogged – market town of a manageable size for getting things done. As the major transport hub of the south, lots of travellers pass through Margao's train station or Kadamba bus stand; it's a useful place for shopping, catching a local sporting event or simply enjoying the busy energy of big-city India in small-town form. Margao's compact town centre ranges around the oblong Municipal Gardens, with shops, restaurants, ATMs and the covered market all within easy reach. To the north of town, is the old Portuguese-flavoured Largo de Igreja district; about 1km north further is the main (Kadamba) bus station, and 1.5km southeast of the Municipal Garden is Margao's train station. The nearest beach is Colva & Benaulim around 6 to 7 km away. Station is about 2kms & Airport about 25kms. Bus stop infront of the apartment.
