Welcome to our tropical paradise! It's a 50 acre farmstay with spice garden, nature trail and natural water swimming pool. Our spacious goan-style cottages are located on a beautiful organic plantation, an ideal get away from the craziness of life... Nature enthusiasts would enjoy walking around on the plantation in the mornings to enjoy the multitude of birds. The nearby river (10-15 min walking) is good for a refreshing dip in the afternoon. Or you might prefer to lounge around the pool, and enjoy the soothing natural environment. During the cold season, it's nice to enjoy the star-spangled sky by a bonfire. Kids usually enjoy playing with our dogs and watching the cows being milked.
I'm a development cooperation professional with a passion for travel, and a strong interest in ecology and sustainable development. My family has been running this plantation in Goa's green hinterland for over 30 years. Many family friends have visited over the years. In 2014, we opened our property to the public.
We are located on the fringe of Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary/Mollem National Park, at the foothills of the Western Ghats. The Western Ghats are a biodiversity hotspot and UNESCO World Heritage site. Our farmstay is a great base to explore attractions of the Dudhsagar Region and beyond: - Dudhsagar Waterfall/Molem National Park - Ancient stone temple and hike to waterfall at Tambdi Surla - Rock carving site at Rivona - Salaulim dam and botanical gardens - Portuguese era heritage houses - Churches at Old Goa and Temples around Ponda - Saveri and other waterfalls in the wildlife sanctuary at Neturlim. We also have a nature trail right on the plantation, and there's a 7 km trek with two river crossings, running along fields and villages, which starts at the plantation. Our plantation and surroundings are also an ideal location for birdwatching. We can help you arrange kayaking trips in a nearby village. During the rains, the trek to our 'hidden waterfall' is a regular favourite with our guests. Not to be missed: our heritage distillery, where we produce some of the best cashew feni in Goa, including our very special Ouro Spiced and Matured Cashew Feni.
