Lua Cheia occupies a corner of unique beauty in a small fishing village. Away from the beaches and crowds, you will truly get a sense of Goan life during your stay. In the mornings, you can walk down to the local bakery to buy bread for breakfast. Our local, hole-in-the-wall chai shop is open throughout the day to satiate your desire for Indian comforts. In the evenings, stroll along the river to see fishermen checking their nets, watch the birds migrate to their nesting sites & catch the sunset over the jungle. While it is possible to walk to the beach, we can call tuktuks for those looking to enjoy a full day by the sea. Within 5-10 minutes, you can be basking on some of Goa's quietest, most pristine beaches, shopping at South Goa's hub in Palolem or relaxing in a beach shack. We have bicycles available for our guests to borrow if they would like to explore the area that way. For longer day trips or to get to beaches further afield, we can call reliable taxi drivers who will be happy to take you.
