Rodrigues Guest House is located in the garden of a 300-year-old Portuguese house. The house has a rich history, It belonged to a famous artist Olimpio Rodrigues who was accredited as being the first Indian who was invited by Pope Pius to paint outside the Sistine Chapel in Rome, where he was awarded a gold medal. Olimpio Rodrigues built the guest house in the year 1982 to accommodate his friends from around the world. Rodrigues Guest is now run by the artist's family.
Rodrigues is located in a scenic garden. It is surrounded by old Portuguese heritage houses. It enjoys the best of both worlds - laid back village life in the midst of the bustling heart of Baga's nightclubs, restaurants and famous beaches.
