We enjoy nature, we love people around, we wanted to take care of less privileged, we love to mix with people from various walks of life. we support all families who are part of Sunvalley and we wanted to support the community and less privileged within it by supporting them as much as possible and guide them to find a job, give good education to their children, have a harmonious life with others.

We as the owners, wanted a cool & chill home and we chooses Coonoor as ideal place comparing to Ooty as it is less commercialized and with more nature and green everywhere, especially climate is not extreme like Ooty. As we had a team to take care of our stay we thought they could manage a bigger team and do it better by organizing a little more, as we did not had plan for continuous stay @sunvalley for now. We progressed with this concept and ended up as we are now, grown as No-1 in whole of Nilgiris in this new concept homestay. we have changed, tailored and added more rooms to cater every guest's/ visitors diversified taste in the walk of life. But in fact we are dedicated to keep the rooms and views or ambiance to our concept model where Green view from every room, clean and hygiene room & toilets/ bathrooms a must. Room sizes and interiors may vary to suite every needs of different guests but consistency is maintained to have optimum space, easiness to maintain, simple interiors and balconies with endless views.

Ottupattari, a small village outside and adjacent to Coonoor is around 2.5Km from the Nilgiris mountain Rly station- Coonoor. The village is a calm and quite hard working people and most of the families are led by Ladies who gets less support from their male partner to run the families. A very complex in nature to resolve Family issues always surround them. But whatever be the cause the Ladies run the families by driving with their best efforts to get education for their children and 3 times food for the family. they work hard and work everyday for as much as USD 5/- per day. Employment opportunity are tough and they find difficulties to find job close to their home most of the time, but can't leave their families and go far as transportation also limited.
