I am an ex-hotelier and my years of experience at India's best luxury hotels nudged me into starting Xanadu. I do not run Xanadu as a hotel but as a vacation home that I share with others. I stay at the villa several times in a year to ensure that each piece of furniture, fitting and fixture not only looks good but also functions properly. The journey of Xanadu started when we wanted a vacation home for ourselves where we could periodically retire and come back rested, rejuvenated and renewed. It was no surprise that almost everyone we spoke to wished for a vacation home but didn’t want the hassle of maintaining one.
