Welcome to our farm. This dome is a house, not a hotel and we want you to feel at home. Please enjoy the beautiful views, go for nice walks, chat with my dogs. We d want you to love it all. The dome was build in the ´80s and is a one of a kind. Surrounded by a lax river, a forrest garden, mountains. Out in the fields are horses and sheep. It is the most romantic place. We are in a valley called Vatnsdalur, 35 km south of Blönduós on road nr 722. We look forward to see you here!
At Hof we run a farm, we have 600 sheep, 65 horses, two dogs and a cat. We love nature and it is all around us. Hiking in the forrest, look at the birds, hiking on a mountain, or just sit and feel the nature, the peace. That is what our place is special for! In the night, summer nights are bright, winter nights are starry and often covered with northern lights. It is simply amazing, and you are welcome to join us!
The farm is situated in the middle of a valley, we have planted trees in an area next to the guesthouse and that has become a small forrest. It is beautiful, and in summer a bird paradise. Further the view shows our mountains, the salmon river, the fields. We are 16km from the main road and it is totally peaceful here. Our place is a place to relax and feel the peace of nature. Go for a walk, or just sit down. It is amazing.
