This is a hidden gem in Iceland and not filled with people or packed with tourists. There are various activities that you can do at the black beach. You can go on ATV tours or Rib boats tours by the beach. You can relax in Yoga session or go on a fishing trip.
The famous lava tunnel, Raufarholshellir is also close by, the church Strandakirkja as well as the valley in Reykjadalur where you can bath in a warm river.
Thorlakshofn is also known to be a hidden gem in the search of the northern lights.
