The village Hvolsvöllur is 10 km distance, there you can find f. eks. supermarket, gasstation, bank, swimmingpool, and restaurants. The area is very beautiful and you can see the mountains, like Eyjafjallajökull, Þríhyrningur (good to hike), very good to take several day-tours from the guesthouse.
