Cozy 66m2 cottage on a mountain hill side by the lake in Laugarvatn. Located in the center of the Golden Circle. It is a traditional Icelandic summer house with two small bedrooms, bathroom and a big living area with a full equipped kitchen. Surrounded by a wooden terrace, hot tub with geothermal water, beautiful garden and trees.
5min by car to city center, spa, pool and grocery store.
We spend our free time decorating and caring for this little gem. The cottage is unique because of the forest surrounding it. There are not so many trees in Iceland.
It has endless views over the lake and mountains, even the volcano Hekla.
As there are no street-lights by the cottage, it is easy to see the northern lights bathing in the hot tub.
Guests have access to all areas of the cottage.
From January to March it might not be possible to drive from the main road to the cabin due to snow, but it is not too far to walk.
You will need a car to visit Iceland. A 4X4 could be necessary during the winter to access the house
