Corte di Valle Wine and Resort combines hospitality and Wine production. The Corte di Valle Estate Wine and Resort Estate is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico Region, in the Municipality of Greve in Chianti, one of the territories that constitute the area of production of the Chianti Classico The Vineyards of Corte di Valle extend over more than 22ha and are planted mostly with San Giovese grapes which constitutes the base of Chianti classico wine. The soils are rich in clay and limestone (albarese)which allows for a perfect balance between the capacity of drainage and water retention. This area has the lowest average temperature in the first part of the season, with a slow initial vegetative growth and less vigour and is now benefiting from the global temperature increase that helps in the grapes maturation. Close to 90 % of the vineyards are entitled to produce Chianti Classico DOCG wine, the rest of the production being qualified as IGT Tuscan red Wine. All the property is Organic or in conversion to organic, limiting severely the use of pesticides and herbicides in the cultivation of the vineyards and the production of the wine itself. During your stay at Corte Di Valle you will have the opportunity to taste our wines and , eventually visit the Cellars where we produce them
