Those that will spend a holiday at the Agriturismo Dea will benefit from the quiet of the place, surrounded by the boundless panoramas, the woods, the grassland and the typical nature of Umbria hills. They can see the squirrel running from a tree to another, they could catch sight of some far deers or watch birds like magpies, young sparrows, little birds of prey, nocturnal birds fling in the blue sky, they can admire the starry sky in the dark nights. The surrounding country and hills offer the possibility of panoramic walks, as well as the more famous “Saint Francis’ way” between Gubbio and Assisi. Our delightful country, that keeps away from everything, until few years ago was lived only by our big family and those that worked in our farm. The farmholiday was founded in 1999 occupying an independent portion of our house and its annexes. The ancient building was a villa of 1600 circa, but the original construction was restored several times.

The Umbria Region is a land that a lot of people must discover yet, but it is made marvelous by the nature and the man; many artists like Giotto, Cimabue, Raffaello, Pietro Vannucci (il Perugino), Pintoricchio, Benozzo Gozzoli, Matteo da Gualdo and many others left their wonderful works; the Etruscan or Roman or Medieval architecture, typical of our towns, is evidence of the importance of this area in the history. The Agriturismo Dea lays exactly in the middle of the area included in the triangle Assisi-Perugia-Gubbio, three of the most important towns of our region. In 30-40 minutes it is possible to reach destinations interesting in art and culture (Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Spello, Montefalco, Bevagna, Fabriano, Città di Castello) or naturalistic (Natural Park of Cucco Mountain, of Subasio Mountin, the “Gola della Rossa” or the Trasimeno Lake with its Natural Reserve). A little bit more far, driving just a hour, it is possible to visit Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Città della Pieve, Cortona, Arezzo, Urbino. If one desire to spend a day at the sea-side, with just 1 hour and a quarter (120km) it is possible to reach the marvelous Conero Promontory.
