We welcome you in an old farmhouse, where we also live, which is immersed in the harmonious Tuscan countryside on the border with Umbria.
Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and cultivated fields we can accommodate up to 14 people in 2 apartments and 2 rooms.
In our small restaurant we offer traditional cuisine in a family atmosphere, in addition to breakfast and dinner, we offer simple cooking classes in which we prepare with you tagliatelle, ravioli, meat sauce, Tiramisù or what you try to preparing.
And one night a week pizza bake in the wood oven!
We will be happy to tell you of the many places, large and small, famous and not, to visit around us.
Or suggest the best experiences you can live to really know the peculiarities of this corner of Tuscany: as wine tastings, visits to dairies with tastings, horse riding or cycling tour organized and much more that we can book it for you or together when you're here
We are a family, Ilaria and Pier Paolo with his sons Bernardo and Gilla, who has decided to leave the city and move to live in the country, and so find a genuine relationship and balance with nature and its rhythms and share these experiences with our guests.
In this new experience started in 2013 we took our experience and our passions:
Pierpaolo is fond of cooking, he loves to paint, giving new life to objects of the past and see grow what he has planted; Ilaria works in the world of children's books and loves stories, illustrations and the magic that is created when an adult reads to a child. Driven by these passions, with the help of experts, we organized bread-making classes, watercolor, creative writing, reading out loud ... and more we are planning.
Agriturismo La Terra is located in a strategic position to visit the wonders of the Val d'Orcia, Val di Chiana but also of Lake Trasimeno and Umbria.
With short trips of a few minuts, you can visit Montepulciano, Cortona, Pienza, Monticchiello and the landscape of the Val d'Orcia UNESCO World Heritage or even Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno with its uninhabited islands.
With a half-day excursion, you can visit Siena and Montalcino, Arezzo, Perugia, Orvieto and Assisi as well, or take a bath in the warm waters of the river that passes through Bagni di San Filippo, as well as admire the spectacular abbey of Sant'Antimo.
But it is the small Bagno Vignoni our favorite place, a tiny Renaissance village born around a thermal water bath gushing hot and steaming from an underground spring. A country still in time.
But here, between a visit and another you can relax in the peace and tranquility of our garden dotted with many small scenic corners in which to stop and read or chat, sipping a glass of wine or take a nap .. . and for those who are more active there are pools, the basketball or the ping-pong ...
