The whole house has been renovated between 2006 and 2008, according to sustainable architecture criteria, using natural local materials only. Plasters are made of cocciopesto, the roman method based on crushed bricks to assure healthiness and warmth, hot water and heating (from November 15 to April 15) are provided by a biomass stove where we recycle all vines and olive trees prunings and the ceramic washbasins have been handmade, using clay from our vineyards. Air conditioning is banned: open the windows at the sunset and enjoy the cool taste of the sea breezes. The apartments are equipped for the separate collection of paper, plastic, metal and organic waste, we will take care of removing the rubbish from the bins located on the roadside every day. The farmhouse has a covered parking lot for cars. Your house is located in the heart of our vineyards. During the summer season, the work in the vineyard has no rest, so do not worry if you see large tractors driving around the house. The farmhouse is located near the woods, inside a wildlife reserve. You will be lucky enough to see many animals, wild boars, roe deer, fallow deer, pheasants and hares, coming out of the woods at sunset, respect them. Above all, do not try to approach them or feed them. The WIFI service via radio is free in the apartments and outside, by the pool but we do not have fiber speed. Pets are welcome. Some relevant information before you book: Check our position carefully, Pieve de' Pitti is located on the top of the hill overlooking our vineyards, at the end of 2km of gravel road. If you drive a sport car, please note that none of our roads is paved. A car is needed to discover the Lands of Pisa, since public transportation or taxi service is not available in the area - Pool is open from May 1 to September 30 - Heating is available in the apartments at extra cost, from November 15 to April 15 only. Sojourn in apartment is self-catering. Breakfast is not available.

We are winemakers, and the fastest way to get in touch with our world is to take part to one of our Winetours, walk with us through the vineyards and discover all the taste of this land Casale il Poggetto is immersed in our vineyards, isolated from the heart of the estate and located at the end of a 2km gravel road. The house has 3 apartments, the largest apartment "Il Poggetto" on the first floor on the north side, and the two apartments "La Stalla" and "La Mangiatoia" on the ground floor on the south side. Each apartment has a full equipped kitchen and we provide also bad and bed linen including pool towels. A first-night courtesy kit (soap, shower-gel, shampoo, toilet paper) will welcome you. Each apartment has a private space outside equipped with umbrellas, chairs with cushions and table. Some common services are available for all the guest: the use of the laundry with washing machine, the brick oven and two barbecues, and sun deck with umbrellas and chairs by the 10×5 pool.

The hills around Terricciola are renowned for the production of Chianti wine and you will have the opportunity to taste excellent wines - ours among the first, of course! Pieve de’ Pitti is located in the middle of these hills, in the very centre of Tuscany, and in 60-90 minutes you can reach all the art cities as Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa and the sandy beaches of Versilia or the cliffs of Castiglioncello and Cecina. Volterra is just 20 minutes away, San Gimignano a half hour drive away. Plan to arrive at Pieve de' Pitti with your own car or rent one during your stay.
