We are Yvo Paagman and Dorith Paagman-Sanders. For years we have had the desire to live in the Mediterranean atmosphere: beautiful weather, delicious food and drinks, being outside and enjoying a different culture and nature. Of course we are not unique in wanting that, but we actually did it! After an extensive search in both southern France and Italy, we fell in love with the south of Le Marche and this estate: this is where we want to be! After the sale of our successful business (wine shop/wine importer) in The Netherlands, we moved to Montottone in September 2016. Out of our own holiday and camping experience and education background (business and hotel school) we work hard and with passion to realize a nice holiday destination. We build among other things a pool, an extra apartment and a large veranda near de apartments. At the same time, Unico Senso is also a farm and we have planted new olive groves, 850 trees now in total. In the summer of 2017 we received our first guests and we are very happy and proud of the nice reviews (see our website)! We enjoy receiving our guests, the further development of the 8 ha of farmland and sharing this unique place. Benvenuti a Unico!

Just outside of the village Montottone, halfway down the hill one can find our authentic renovated farm. Rural and sunny, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, sunflowers and golden grain fields. We have mostly olive trees on our 8 hectares of farmland. In addition, we have a variety of other fruits (fig, cherry, lemon, walnut) alternated with patches of authentic forest and rough terrain. Nature, peace, space and a scenic view. During the summer we offer our guests comfortable accommodations, a nice big swimming pool and a cosy outdoor lounge on our small agriturismo. Our apartments are located in the old stables on the farm. Comfortable with excellent box spring mattresses, luxurious bathrooms, an inside- or outdoor kitchen and a private terrace underneath the shared portico or a terrace with a parasol. Do you love camping, yet also need comfort, also known as glamping? Our completely furnished and robust Karsten tents which each have a private bathroom, outdoor kitchen and wonderful beds are ready for use. Unico Senso is unsuitable for babies, children up to about 6 years and and people with reduced mobility.

Unico Senso is an excellent starting point for short or long trips, by car, bicycle or for a walk. The roads wander through the landscape and on the way you will be treated to the most stunning views. A patchwork of vineyards, sunflowers, corn, olive groves, forest and rugged landscape. And suddenly you see the azure sea, mountains with eternal snow or both at the same time. At any moment of the day, it is different due to the altering lightning. In the villages you can enjoy a coffee, drink or ice cream at the local bar or on the terrace and the friendly atmosphere of Le Marche. Musea, culture and city-life you will find in the nearby cities as Fermo, Ascoli Piceno and Macerata. In summer many events are organized in the lively region. There are a lot of nice restaurants near our agritourism, like for example Pizzeria Rosita, Osteria L'Oca Pazza and Ristorante Da Sebastiani. Combine your trip with a visit to a winery, a local market, a walk around a lake or an afternoon beach stroll. We know the area well and will gladly advise you about a nice trip or a restaurant.
