Nestled among the hills of the medieval town of Ostra, surrounded by nature yet just a 15-minute walk from the town center, lies the old dovecote Antica Colombaia. The city center of Senigallia and its expansive beaches are less than a 20-minute drive away. Our restored historic dovecote consists of two spacious apartments: one on the ground floor with direct access to the garden and a private patio, and one on the first floor featuring a large terrace.

My name is Eva and together with my partner Alessio, I run Antica Colombaia, located in a beautifully restored old dovecote where we live and work. As a Dutch native, I took the big step of moving to Italy in 2019, where I soon met Alessio. From that moment on, we began building our shared dream, with Antica Colombaia as the result.

Antica Colombaia is nestled among the hills of the Marche region in central Italy. It boasts breathtaking views of the medieval town of Ostra, a 15-minute walk away, where all amenities are available. Just a 20-minute drive away is the bustling coastal town of Senigallia, with its expansive, velvety beaches and beautiful historic center. Also a 20-minute drive, but further inland, is the charming city of Jesi, where you can enjoy shopping and admire the numerous typical piazzas and palazzos. A little further, but still within 50 km, you can discover several beautiful places. Inland, for example, you'll find the Frasassi Caves, a large underground cave system where you can take a magical walk. Or head towards the coast below the port city of Ancona to Monte Conero, where you can visit the stunning beaches and charming seaside towns of the Riviera del Conero.
