20 minutes from Parma, immersed in the green countryside of Parma, near the river Po, stands the Antica Grancia; 3 km from the center of Colorno with the Royal Palace and the ALMA cooking school, easily reachable by bike. The bucolic structure once led by the Benedictine monks has medieval origins and dates back to 1143. A place full of rustic charm, it is ideal as a reference point to visit the numerous castles of the Duchy as well as Busseto with the Verdi lands. Nearby are the museum of Don Camillo and Peppone in Brescello, and the medieval village of Sabbioneta. In a strategic position both to reach the Parma fairs and to the A1 motorway exit of Parma. Located at the center of the Food Valley, Grancia offers tastings of typical products Km 0, and offers a good choice of restaurants in the area with traditional dishes.
