Villa Bonicelli srl was founded in 2024 as a joint venture between the owners of the properties inside the beautiful hamlet of Villa Bonicelli and Alessandro, a young local with a passion for the Appennino and its unexplored beauties and hidden gems. The company manages a total of five properties with the mission to showcase our beautiful, unexplored territory. All properties are located within Villa Bonicelli, a small sunny paradise situated just above the Dolo river, which is part of the municipality of Toano in the province of Reggio Emilia.

L'Antico Palazzo is a Huge large rustic stone villa that used to be the manor house of the Villa Bonicelli hamlet, a picturesque hamlet in the beautiful Emilia-Romagna countryside. It sleeps 13 people comfortably, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. It can also be rented in conjunction with our other properties in the village. A shared outdoor swimming pool with stunning mountain view is shared between the other 3 properties. L'Antico Palazzo is a historically interesting building, being part of the original 'casa padronale' (manor house) of the hamlet used to be the lord's mansion. It has been furnished partly with antiques and quirky one-off pieces that reflect its history. It really is an original holiday home from which to explore this stunning and little-known area of Italy. The beautiful arched doorway (clearly dated 1824, although the building itself dates back to the late 16th/early 17th century) opens onto a warren of rooms! First is a large and atmospheric drawing room.
