Albisola Superiore is a picturesque town on the western Ligurian coast, ideal for a relaxing holiday. Awarded the Blue Flag 🏖️ for many years, it offers the splendid Passeggiata Eugenio Montale 🚶♂️, a seafront path away from traffic, which allows access to numerous bathing establishments and free beaches, where you can enjoy our sea.
The city is renowned for its ceramic tradition 🎨, demonstrated by the Manlio Trucco Museum 🏺, housed in the home-workshop of the painter and ceramist Manlio Trucco. Here you can admire a vast collection ranging from the 15th to the 20th century, including examples of blue monochrome majolica from the 1700s and decorated terracotta.
A few kilometers away is Ellera, a hilltop village that preserves its characteristic medieval "caruggi" intact 🏘️. The village is embellished with a series of artistic ceramic panels, creating a real open-air art gallery.
