Nebida is a former mining village in the municipality of Iglesias, in Sulcis-Iglesiente. It is about 16 km from Iglesias. The coast is characterized by the presence of pebble and sandy beaches. Nebida is famous for the five stacks: the rock of the Dead, the rock of Portu Nebida, the two Faraglioni S'Agusteri in front of the beach of Portu Banda and finally the famous Pan di Zucchero, 133 m high (the largest monolith in Europe), with natural caves that can also be traveled by boat. Do not forget the mining complex of Masua with the mine of "Porto Flavia" and the "Museum of mining machines", both can be visited to discover the secrets and stories of miners and these places. For sports enthusiasts the coast of Nebida and Masua offers a variety of activities. Thanks to the wonderful cliffs that fall to the sea, you can practice free-climbing.
