The apartment/holiday house "PICCOLO PORTO DI CERRO" is located in the small town of Cerro in Laveno Mombello, Va, overlooking Lake Maggiore. The apartment is managed by the owners Grazia and Giuseppe and can accomodate up to 4 people. It is composed by the dining room, with two single foldaway beds; a bedroom with double bed; large kitchen with dining area, fridge / freezer, sink, stove and oven; small bathroom with bathtub-shower. Entrance with outdoor area equipped with table, chairs and sun umbrella. A few meters from the apartment there are free and paid parkings. The parking is allowed in front of the house only temporarily to load / unload luggage and the apartment front can be reached by small or medium-sized cars because we are in a old center town with small streets and footpaths.

The apartment, for his favorite position, is very cool and does not need air conditioning during the summer. The apartment is a few steps from the very beautiful bathing beach of Laveno Mombello. The location is very attractive because the centre of Laveno Mombello is about 2 km far from the apartment and from there you can embark on the ferry to get to the western shore of Lake Maggiore and Verbania with its attractions, or you can take boats to Borromean Islands in Lake Maggiore. In Laveno Mombello, there is a very impressive funicular to go to Monte Sasso Del Ferro from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of lakes and mountains of the Verbano area. Varese is about twenty kilometers.

A few meters from the apartment you will find two restaurants, a bar, a small grocery store, clothing, newsagent, church, the International Museum of Ceramics, the playground, the free beach, the promenade and the sailing club. In a few km you can reach the town of Laveno Mombello, Va, a charming village on the lake, with all the services that it offers: shops, supermarkets, ferry to the western shore of Maggiore Lake and the ferries to the islands, the cable car to Monte Sasso del Ferro, railway stations and much more. Our area is a very rich tourist area, at short distance you can visit the Borromean Islands of the Maggiore Lake, the famous Hermitage of Santa Caterina di Leggiuno, the cable car to Monte Sasso del Ferro, the Borromeo Fortress and its museums in Angera, or explore the many beaches along Maggiore Lake from Laveno to Switzerland (Caldè, Luino). Ferrying from Laveno to Intra, Pallanza and Verbania you can visit its botanical garden Villa Taranto, always on the western shore there are wonderful countries bordering on Lake Maggiore, as Cannero Riviera, Cannobbio, Stresa and Arona.
