B&B Casa Baseggio is a family house very quite. Located in the historical center, not far from Rialto, it is situated in the wing of an ancient building which was part, al ready in 1300, of a Franciscan convent. The spacious double rooms are available to the guests, with en suite bathroom. Our furnished rooms offer all the comforts you need, including Wi-Fi, fridge, hair dryer, soundproofing, and radiator heating. Breakfast, served by me, from 8:30 to 9:30, can be enjoyed in your room or on the terrace. Please note that breakfast is not included in the price and must be requested at least one week prior to arrival. Additionally, breakfast service is not available from December to March.

My name is Marco Baseggio, in addition to managing the B&B I teach Yantra Yoga, an ancient Tibetan yoga. The pleasure of working in the B&B is due to the fact that after many years I have managed to maintain a family-style management and even today I personally welcome my guests making them feel at home. Just as I personally serve them breakfast when they request it. I see that this type of welcome is still very much appreciated.

Being in Venice, in this lagoon, apart from the cultural feedback which are unique to this place, you have the chance to rediscover the "the natural passing of time" of the elements like water and earth ( one almost always walks ... or uses the boat ) and also helps you to rediscover the "more personal and intimate time". So, at least, it has always been for me, every time I come back to this town. The area in which we live , is a little secluded and still lived by Venetians, with its historical places: the "Bacari" and its taverns, its silences and the spoken dialect, which induces you to enjoy authentically the ancient dimension of a ‘water town’.
