公司簡介
I'm present, I'm Stefania Ciacci, who has always been passionate and dreaming about travel and tourism.
I decided to create the holiday Borghetto to let you know the small and unknown medieval hamlet of Castelnuovo dell'Abate.
Here is the restoration of the House of Alice. Aunt Alice, who together with my uncle John contributed to my growth by transmitting important values ... my mind often comes back to the home where I spent part of my childhood. There I met auntie friends who gathered every day in the borghetto
to embroider or crochet. In winter, Alice's house was the gathering place of Laurina Debolini, La Sorrisa Lisa, Elba the painter, Emma and Lola for playing cards or having a cup of hot tea that Uncle Uncle had brought from India ... I still remember perfume!
Personally I did make the renovation become my own creation, like a painter who creates his canvas from nothing. Here comes the master carpenter who comes out of a piece of rough wood that builds the doors and the lintel of the chimney, the blacksmith who forges the window irons and restores the old lords, the bricklayer attentive to the old techniques of plastering plaster ... thanks to all of you!
住宿資訊
The Alice House is built on the bastions of the old walls of the medieval hamlet of Castelnuovo Abate, in a small crossroads of the central street leading to the palace of bishop Fabius de Vecchis and the frescoed Romanesque church.
The Alice House boasts a living area divided into a relaxation room with a 45-inch flat screen TV and wood-burning fireplace and fitted kitchen where you can prepare a coffee or a tea if you want!
We have two double bedrooms with a very panoramic view of the Brunello vineyards. Each room has its own bathroom inside.
It was completely renovated in 2015 according to the recovery techniques adopted for the renovation of the Tuscan houses. We used ecological materials like lime and heated it with non-polluting natural energy resources.
Wifi is free, bed and bath linen is included in the price.

From the Borgo we see the Orcia river ... we are in Val d'Orcia ... Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, San Quirico, the Rocca ... are twenty minutes by car.
Everything is guarded by the imposing mole of Mount Amiata, a volcano declared now for decades, where in summer we can enjoy its secular beech forest, with the possibility of grilling directly immersed in nature and winter skiing, snow permitting !
