I discovered the world of tourism starting as a child to travel with my parents, then alone. At the age of 20 I started my hiking guide business and from there the idea of having my own structure where to welcome travelers was born. I have renovated the family home, where I also live, to make it comfortable and hospitable to my guests, whom I welcome together with my partner.
I love the mountains, cycling and climbing. I am Official Guide of the Pollino Park, mountain rescue instructor and helicopter rescue technician.
住宿信息
The Casa dell'Escursionista is a small and welcoming structure (we only have 2 rooms) designed for those who love nature and hiking in the mountains. We carry out this work out of passion and we like to welcome our guests making them feel at home, because this is our home.
The breakfast varies day by day, according to the seasons and the needs of our guests. A homemade cake is never missing, using genuine zero-km products, such as organic jams from local producers.
Numerous tours depart from here to visit the Pollino Park. We specialize in E-Bike excursions, which we organize daily with our pedal assisted bikes. Those who have their own bike can use our bike station for tuning, washing and charging.
周边信息
A few minutes from the B&B there are cliffs equipped for climbing, caves for caving and a via ferrata, within walking distance.
Cerchiara is also a strategic point for lovers of the sea and relaxation. A 15-minute drive away are the splendid sandy beaches of Torre Cerchiara. Our guests usually combine a holiday in the mountains with a few days at the beach, not giving up on the cool evening temperatures of our village, at an altitude of 600 meters.
The strong point of this area is the thermal pool of the Grotta delle Ninfe, fed by hot sulphurous water from the small lake located inside the cave. The mud collected from the seabed is used for skin care.
From Cerchiara you can move to visit numerous small villages in the Pollino area, each with its own identity and a constant characteristic: excellent gastronomy.
The area is rich in archaeological sites, including Sibari, Broglio di Trebisacce, Timpone della Motta di Francavilla.
