Casa Gargano is a unique property offering unparalleled views and exceptional access to local transport, but it comes with limitations typical of the iconic Amalfi Coast. Breathtaking Sea View. Casa Gargano boasts two balconies (one for each apartment) offering one of the most iconic, magazine-featured views of the Amalfi Coast. The accommodation overlooks the sea throughout its length. Location & Transport: An exceptionally convenient location, just a 2-minute walk from the SITA bus stop (for Ravello, Salerno, Pompeii, Naples) and the airport shuttle stop. We are 800m from Atrani and 1.8km from Amalfi center. No Long Stairs: Unlike most properties on the Coast, we are only 18 steps up from the street, ensuring easy access upon arrival. Renovated Apartments: Two recently (2019) renovated, fully equipped apartments. Apartment 1. Giovanna: 49 sq m, 1 French Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, Living room with kitchenette, option for 2 singles/1 double in the living area, second bathroom. Apartment 2. Don Luigi: 51 square meters, one mountain-facing bedroom with a French double bed and ensuite bathroom, one living room with sea views on both sides, 1 sofa, 2 single beds or a double bed upon request, 2nd bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen. [continued from above] Casa Gargano is our family home, renovated to welcome guests from all over the world. Both apartments overlook the sea, with a spectacular view of Atrani, Amalfi on the right, Maiori on the left and the Cilento mountains in front. The beach is 180 steps below the accommodation. The whole structure is perfectly equipped for smartworking, with sockets even on the balcony. If you love reading, there are books in every corner. Being right on the main road (a highly advantageous position for easy access and transport), Casa Gargano is above the narrow coastal road. This road is very busy during the day and can be noisy, especially due to buses. Our Solution: We have installed triple-glazed soundproof windows to minimize disturbance. Lack of Sidewalks: Like much of the road between Vietri and Positano, there are no dedicated sidewalks immediately outside the property. Guests must walk along the roadside to reach the bus stop or local store (2 minutes walk). Parking: Car is NOT Recommended. We strongly advise against arriving by car due to the narrow roads and high parking costs. We DO NOT OFFER free private parking. If you arrive by car, we can indicate public parking lots about 10 minutes from Casa Gargano, where the average daily rate is around 40 euro. Wi-Fi Speed: The Wi-Fi is not high-speed as the area is not yet covered by fiber optics. It is suitable for emails and basic browsing but may not support high-definition streaming or heavy downloading. One of Southern Italy's most iconic landscapes is right off your balcony, Casa Gargano is above the Ravello beach, about a 5 minutes' walk via staircase of 180 steps. The small village of Castiglione offers tranquillity and family atmosphere. At the same time it is in a strategic position to reach Atrani (800 meters), Amalfi (2 km), and is 1 minute's walk from the SITA bus stop to Ravello, Salerno/Pompeii/Naples, shuttle Capodichino airport, and the bar-grocery store.
