The fine print

Need-to-know information for guests at this property

Please note that : In the municipality of Porto Empedocle as in all the other municipalities of the island, there is no running water. However, there are large enough containers in which the water is stored so that you can benefit from running water. In our establishment we have a reserve of 1000L of water in which are served every two days the city running water which automatically fills the 1000L of capacity. City water fill days are TUESDAY – THURSDAY – SATURDAY. Everything is put in place to optimize the necessary water and not waste it unnecessarily. The hot water tank is limited to 20L of hot water per shower to reduce water consumption as well as all water points are equipped with a suitable pressure reducer.

The flush has a maximum capacity of 7L of water per use and the shower is set for a flow rate of 8L of water per minute.

So you have 3000L (1000L Tuesday, 1000L Thursday and 1000L Saturday) water per week included in the price of your rental if you exceed this quantity it is possible to contact the person in charge of the establishment Anna who will send you the truck of refill of potable water for the two tanks. This service is not included in the rental rate and will be entirely at your expense. The price of 1000L of water will not exceed 25€-30€ per fill. The price of the filling is to be discussed with Anna who will negotiate the price for you. In addition, if the city water does not arrive on the filling days we will take over the filling of the tanks.
