It is located in the Arenzano Pineta residence, overlooking the 9-hole golf course of Arenzano Pineta which is situated on a hill, directly on the Mediterranean Sea in Liguria. It is a private property. The name casabuca8 means house of hole 8. On one side you look out on the hills of Monte Beigua and on the other side is the golf course and below is the sea. There are two entrances, at the main entrance is a square with a café, a delicatessen and a pizzeria. There is also a lawn with a playground. The apartment has been renovated and is fully equipped with a lovely kitchen, an Italian espresso coffee machine, microwave-grill combination, a gas stove with oven. Each bedroom has a window with shutters and a ceiling fan. The balcony overlooks the golf course and is suitable for outdoor dining. In the summer there is afternoon shade on the balcony so it never gets too hot. The apartment is part of 3 buildings that are located on the golf course. Most of the apartments are owned by Italians who live there permanently. It is not a holiday park and respect for the neighbours is important. Not suitable for very young children (no cots) and people who have difficulty walking because the entire complex is on a hill and the apartment is on the 1st floor without a lift. Suitable for remote working.

We are a Dutch couple who met in Milan when we were about 25 years old. We were both in love with Italy and with each other and got married in Arezano on a Vespa scooter (hence the photo)! We worked in Italy for more than 15 years and lived in Arenzano for more than 5 years. Because of my husband's work we left for Germany and France afterwards, but we left part of our heart in Arenzano and regularly return there. Because we do not live in Arenzano permanently, we think it is a nice idea to rent out our apartment to guests who also love Liguria and Italy and enjoy discovering Arenzano and its surroundings. Arenzano is a real Italian seaside resort. Arenzano Pineta is part of Arenzano and is located on a hill by the sea. You can take a special Pronto bus (for a fee) down to the village or with your own car or (electric) bike. You can also walk, but it is uphill on the way back. In the village of Arenzano, there is a nice boulevard with many beach pavilions, bagni and restaurants and behind it is the shopping street. There is a market twice a week. You can rent bikes (electric and regular) at the bike rental at the harbor. There is a nice and easy bike ride to Cogoleto and Varazze of 11 km along the coast. There is also a train station with trains to Genoa, Camogli and Porto Fino. You are in the center of Genoa in 30 minutes. You can also take the boat from there to Camogli and Porto Fino or walk part of the route along the beautiful coast. Cinque Terra can also be done in one day or you have a surplus there and Levanto and Moneglia are also very nice coastal towns to visit. You can also go towards Piemonte, for the delicious Barolo wines and truffles of Alba and Asti, you are there in an hour and a half! You can ski in Prato Nervosa, which is about 1h40 from Arenzano, towards Mondovi in Cuneo. Nice airport is 180 km from Arenzano so that is a 2.5 hour drive (toll road along the coast). It is best to come by car or fly directly to Genoa, the distance from Genoa airport is only 20 minutes. For the more gourmets there are Asti and Alba, in "La Langhe" in Piemonte, where you can find truffles, porcini mushrooms, Barolo and numerous wine tastings at 1 to 1.5 hours from Arenzano. The centre of Turin is also very nice to visit in one day.
