Villa Maria, a 1920's villa restored in 1990, is located in front of the beach of Reno di Leggiuno. The view is one of the most beautiful of Lake Maggiore. Today, Villa Maria is divided into a cosy cottage, completley indipendent, and four duplex studios. The proprierty is surrounded by a garden with a direct access to Reno beach.
Reno di leggiuno is on the sunny side of lake Maggiore, and the sun goes down exactly in front of Villa Maria, giving you spectacular sunset views. Surroundings: 10 minutes foot the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso. You can reach by foot Cerro, (5 minutes by car, 25 min. on foot)and the MIDEC, the International Museum of Ceramic Design with a permanent collection and temporary exibitions, workshops for children and ceramics courses. Laveno, Luino, Intra by car and Stresa, the Borromean Islands, Arona and the Switerland by ferry-boat. Lugano, Switerland, is only 50 minutes from Villa Maria, by car.
