Cozy and freshly renovated stone house in the Ligurian foothills with a stunning panoramic view and snowy peaks on the horizon. Nestled within a small, friendly village, this loft-like accommodation is immersed in nature, amongst olive trees and vineyards and is a peaceful place to relax and enjoy. Great for hiking, walking, mountain biking, and road cycling - several trails for your enjoyment! The home is fully equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, towels, etc so feel at home!

Milly is from Canada and Michiel from The Netherlands. We met each other while working for an NGO in a small coastal town in the south of Tanzania. In Tanzania we also crossed paths with our now family dog, Macchia. Since then, we expanded our family and now have two more dogs (Matcha and Jack) and son Paolo (named after our fondness for Italy). The love for Italy and nature and the need to get away from city hecticness made us look for a cute and cozy spot in the Ligurian mountains! We love everything the region has to offer - delicious food (and wine and coffee to boot), open fresh air, and a warm culture! Since we don't live in Italy, we will not be there physically, but we have a property manager that lives close by.

Our house is surrounded by a few other houses and a little church. It sits perfectly in the mountainside, overlooking the valley. On the hilltop there are spectacular walking paths that take you through unspoiled forests, and to picturesque villages, with breathtaking views. The nearby towns have great food options, such as 'La Forchetta Golosa' pizzeria in Pieve di Teco and the 'Antica Osteria dei Frantoi di Vinai Isabella' in Canata - owned by a local family based out of their own house. The house can be reached by car through a winding asphalt road, coming from the road between Pieve di Teco and Albenga. On this main road there are also buses running, but it would still be a tough hike to get to the house. It is best and advised to rent/have a car. Parking is available anywhere along the road of the house
