The apartment is located inside an ancient building on Piazza della Signoria. It was here, in Medieval times, that the powerful corporation called "Arte dei Mercatanti" was located. It was here that very high quality fabrics were produced. This art lived up to 1770 and was then replaced by the Florence Chamber of Commerce. Although the history of the building dates back to the XIV century, the apartment is furnished with great attention to details in a contemporary style. We can certainly say that the apartment is located in the very heart of Florence. In fact, Piazza Signoria boasts one of the symbols of the ancient Florentine power over the centuries, which is Palazzo Vecchio. On the right of the Palazzo Vecchio are the Uffizi, while to its left you will find the Gucci Museum. On the left of the entrance of the apartment’s building, you will find yourself on via Calzaiuoli which is the street that leads to the Duomo. All the other Florentine monuments are easily reachable on foot. The surrounding area provides a multitude of shops for all needs and restaurants ready to satisfy every taste.
