Central apartment in the heart of Venice, a few meters from Piazza San Marco and Rialto bridge. Panoramic terrace overlooking the bell tower of San Marco and the characteristic Venetian roofs and chimneys. A short distance away is a shore from which you can admire the gondolas. During the day, you can listen to romantic serenades sung by gondoliers. Vero close to public transportation for airport, train station and car park. In a few minutes you can access the beauty of the Basilica of San Marco, the Doge's Palace, the La Fenice theater, the Rialto market and many other interesting sites. In the area there are many supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
Born and raised in Venice, I moved away from my city only to study marine biology at the University of Trieste. The strong bond with the family and the city has always made me choose to return, because Venice remains in the heart. Generations of Venetians have lived and grown in this house which has a long history of hard work and sacrifices. My wish is to make all my guests enjoy the real Venice and be able to live peaceful days among the beauties it offers.
The most central and historic district of Venice, where the city's life and commerce has focused since its origins. It has always been characterized by the craft shops above which the houses of artisans and merchants stood. Over the centuries the area has hosted generations of blacksmiths at the service of the Serenissima Republic. There were numerous canals all around; in the event of a fire there would be no shortage of water. At one time the house had direct access to the canal, then in 1837 it was buried and the activities of the blacksmiths gave way to coal sellers. Today the area is full of souvenir shops and restaurants. But you can still find neighborhood shops: the butcher, the greengrocer, the bakery, the bookshop. A curious and attentive eye will not struggle to recognize them between the walking people and the tourist shops. This means living Venice as a Venetian. Have a nice stay!
