Hi, we are Claudia (and Giulio). Giulio was born and raised here, I moved to Florence after traveling around for a few years. I am a mom and wife. I love walking, dancing, reading and being amazed every day by the wonders of the world. Being with people and for people. I enjoy solving situations and helping others "get" connected. We have a family business called SAFER HOUSE. SAFER was the name of my in-laws' building materials company, and here in these same spaces where they worked from the 1930s until the end of the last century, we have carved out four apartments plus the "whale's belly," a communal space carved out of the cellars where we can meet to have a glass of wine together, but also work, study, do art, meditation, yoga and more. So to SAFER we added HOME and here we are! We like artists and those who don't always pansa straight, welcoming guests from all over the world, convinced that Florence should be a cradle of art: not only in the past, but also in the present and future. Located 500 meters from the center of Florence, Casa Safer offers accommodation with free WiFi and a kitchen with toaster, refrigerator and stove. Our recently renovated apartments are 400 meters from Piazza della Signoria and 700 meters from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Equipped with a private entrance, the apartments allow guests to maintain their privacy. Each unit has a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, flat-screen TV and kitchenware. In the apartment complex, units include linens and towels. Nearby points of interest at Casa Safer include Florence Cathedral Square, the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery. The apartments are located on a street full of ancient architecture and noble palaces. About 200 meters from Piazza Signoria, Piazza S. Croce and a few more meters from Piazza Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. Placed in the Santa Croce district, it is therefore of part Azzurra in the Florentine Historical Calcio, a costumed event held every year in June for the festivities of St. John, patron saint of our city. In addition to historic palaces, there are several tabernacles in the street: one in particular stands out, possibly by the brothers Benedetto and Giuliano da Maiano, reproducing the Madonna of the Milk. If you wish to eat out, in the adjacent streets you will be spoiled for choice, in fact in the neighborhood you will find many restaurants, fast food, cafes and places where you can drink even just an aperitif, a beer or a glass of wine. A piece of advice? Try, if you dare, to taste something really cheap and Florentine: lampredotto! What is it? We'll explain it to you in person....
