New independent eco-house in rural setting, away from the crowds between Florence and Siena. This is an annex building on a family run olive farm surrounded by unspoilt Tuscan countryside. Plenty of shaded outdoor space, barbecue, stunning views, fantastic sunsets and big night skies. We are an official agriturismo, there are two other independent apartments on the olive farm that share the pool and private parking. The eco-house was built in 2019 with 100% sustainable materials. It is independent from the main farmhouse and enjoys a large private patio with outdoor sitting/ dining area. The open plan interior with high beamed ceiling and parquet flooring is spacious, light and airy with a minimalistic modern design. There is a low double bed (160x200 cm), a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with wc, basin, bidet and a large walk-in shower , a reading area and desk/PC table. The space is equipped with air conditioning and mosquito nets on every window. Agriturismo Timignano is in the middle of the countryside, 10 minutes from the beautiful hill top town Casole d'Elsa and within 40 minutes of Tuscany's main artistic and cultural hotspots. There is a 1.5km stone road leading to the house. It is suitable for all types of car but we advise you to drive slowly due to various drainage bumps along the route. The swimming pool is not suitable for children under 13. No pool games, inflatables or loud music please. Swimming towels are not provided. The nearest grocery store is 10 minutes away in Casole d'Elsa so we suggest you buy some provisions before arriving. There is a good local restaurant in the village, 5 minutes from the house.

I live in part of the house with my wife, Sarah. We will be here to greet you on arrival and to help out with any questions and local tips but we always respect the privacy of our guests and keep very much to ourselves. We sell our own red wine and olive oil and I offer an olive oil tasting for anyone interested.

Note that there is 1.5kms of stone road to reach Timignano and it is a 15 minute drive from the nearest grocery store. There's a great little restaurant (Il Piattoforte) in the village of Monteguidi, 5 minutes from the property. Other local restaurants can be found in Casole d'Elsa and Mensano. The nearest supermarkets are in Colle Val d'Elsa. We are 40 minutes from Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra, one hour from Florence and just over an hour from the beach and Southern Tuscany.
