"Erida Apartment" is in a central and perfect location, exactly in Via del Babuino, one of the most exclusive and elegant streets in Rome. The apartment is a bright loft, with double exposure, absolutely silent. The building is very old. The first floors were built in the XVth century and in the following centuries, the area became the reference point for artists from all over Europe: they came to live here or started their workshops. Before the Second World War, the apartment was the laboratory of my grandfather, a good sculptor of the time, and some of his works can be admired in the close Villa Borghese (ex. The bust of Rattazzi in front of the "Bar dell'orologio") or by the Tennis Stadium in the Foro Italico (the large statue of the tennis player). Those times are long gone, but in the area and in the building you will feel a sensation of mix of old and modern, between the past and the present, and looking through the windows the roofs of Rome and the lush Villa Borghese, you will be amazed...

The area of the "Trident" is the actual center of the capital. We are by the Spanish Steps, Via del Corso (the main street of Rome) and Piazza del Popolo, and is a short walk from the Ara Pacis, the Porta Flaminia, the Trevi Fountain and the main tourist sites. There are many local restaurants where you can find everything you want, being careful to avoid those with an exclusively tourist policy (in the apartment you'll find some suggestions). In the area there are numerous Roman residents and therefore it is not a district exclusively for tourist. The level, variety and number of shops make the area without any doubt the most important destination for shopping in Rome.
