A restored barn unfolds its large picture windows onto a breathtaking panorama that stretches from the rolling hills of the Langa all the way to the peaks of the Maritime Alps, with Monviso standing proudly at the center. This holiday home—part of the “Ospitalità di Frontiera Ijan” project run by the Municipality of Igliano—invites guests to travel first with their eyes, even before setting out along one of the high-Langa scenic trails or discovering the timeless villages that dot the surrounding countryside. It’s a privileged spot where you can savor the vast, deep spaces between the Langa hills and the mountains, immersed in the unhurried rhythms of a rural hamlet, to recharge and enjoy an authentic, unforgettable experience.

This recovered barn is one of several homes in the Ijan “Ospitalità di Frontiera” initiative. It lies just 17 km from the A6 Turin–Savona motorway exit; 54 km from Levaldigi Airport (Cuneo); and 125 km from Caselle Airport (Turin). The Barolo wine zone is 20 km away, the seaside at Bergeggi (Savona) is 62 km off, and the Mondolé ski area is 44 km away. Its privileged location makes it the perfect base to explore Piedmont’s main attractions: on foot or by bike through Alta Langa’s lost villages, fields, and time-honored rhythms; and to sample extraordinary family-run trattorie and farms.
