Come home to relax at this unique, tranquil, insta-worthy getaway after spending days at crowded tourist and beach areas of Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Lerici/San Terenzo. The house is minutes (by car, bike, bus) from all those areas yet the old world Italian charm of stone walls and Arcola historical village will let you escape from the tourist chaos. Soak in the amazing views/sunrises/sunsets from the private terrace and patio as you enjoy breakfast, dinner, a glass of wine or the Italian sun.
The house is accessible via a short walk (approximately 175 feet/53 meters) from the street up a slight/gradual sloped walkway/path (with a couple stairs). Free street parking is next to the entrance to the common courtyard.
Built around 1700, the 75 m2 house has 3 bedrooms (one is accessed through another and is also an office with a desk and chair) and one bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped to make meals and has a dining table with seating for 5 people. There are split type ductless air-conditioners/heaters in the living room, bedroom #1 and bedroom #2. There is also radiator heat in all rooms. There is a private patio on the ground floor and private terrace on the 1st floor - both with amazing views. Outdoor furniture consists of an outdoor dining table/seating, chairs, sofa, sun loungers, yoga mats for the terrace, etc The patio will also have a propane bbq grill. The property also has private yard/garden area that guests will have access to. The house has 3 TVs and WI-FI throughout. The house has an independent entrance.

I'm a very active person - from running, mt biking, hiking/backpacking, playing tennis, traveling, watching sporting events, foodie. I'm also into photography (my IG is unfiltereduniverse) - the prints in my properties were taken by me so if you are interested in purchasing a photo (including photos not on display in my properties) let me know. I'm will be setting up an Airbnb Experience taking people hiking/backpacking as I'm very knowledgeable of most wilderness areas and hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest (which are some of the most amazing wilderness areas in the world). Hopefully with the purchase of an Airbnb in the Cinque Tere area of Italy I will become more knowledgeable of the Alps, Dolomites, etc.

The house is located in a small enclave of approximately 8 houses with a common courtyard/path connecting all the houses to the street. The neighborhood exudes old world charm as most of houses are hundreds of years old and built of stone and surrounded by countryside and some small vineyards. The only street through the neighborhood is characteristic of Italian hilltop villages - narrow and windy with entrances to homes right on the street!
The immediate neighborhood is mostly residential but within the actual historical/medieval village there is a bar/pizza restaurant. The village is a 4 minute walk down the scenic narrow street! If you walk another 11 minutes through the village you reach the commercial part of Arcola where you can find other restaurants (including a great pizza restaurant), PENNY (grocery store), a COOP (very small version of the large supermarket that's all over Italy), pharmacy, bakery, a pasticceria, etc. You can drive to this area in a few minutes as it's only 1 mile/1.6 km from the house. As you can see from my photos, the historical/medieval village is very photogenic/insta-worthy and is a must see while staying at my house.
See my photos for all the easily accessible (15-40 minute drives from the house) popular destinations nearby - Cinque Terre, San Terenzo, Lerici, Tellaro, Sarzana, Porto Venere, Fivizzano. The popular Versilia area with its beach resorts and nightclubs is a 30-50 minute drive.
My house is also a 50-90 minute drive from many other very scenic and popular beach areas north of Cinque Terre - Levanto, Rapallo, Portofino as well as Tuscan towns-Lucca and San Gimignano. Florence is a 2 hour drive. You can also reach these other areas via trains that can be accessed at La Spezia Centrale and Sarzana train stations. La Spezia Central is a 20 minute drive and Sarzana station is a 12 minute drive. Taxi & bus service (no Uber) is also available to/from the house to both stations.
