Originally I was a small convent dating back to 1758, year of which there is a proof in an ancient engraving just above the main entrance door. Later in time, I became a "casa a corte", a typical Salento house which landowners used to give to their labourers. Today I am a residential complex consisting of 8 independent dwelling units, located in the historic center of Spongano, a few meters far from bars, restaurants, shops and other services. I may say my position is a strategic one for those who can’t wait to discover the most beautiful places Salento can offer. Spending your holiday at the Residence La Corte dei Colori, means living moments of tranquility, relaxation and privacy. You will find out enjoying the pool or the shade of the Mediterranean garden is exactly the right conclusion of a whole day at the beach! Furthermore, it is the ideal place to experience the atmosphere of those ancient times which made Salento a magical land and the perfect starting point for travellers aiming at discover realities, flavours, habits, scents, atmospheres and emotions that are now quite rare and lost in time. A soli 21 anni ho iniziato a gestire un'importante struttura ricettive in Salento, da quest'anno inizia una nuova avventura personale con lo stesso impegno di prima e la voglia di condividere con i miei ospiti i segreti per scoprire al meglio le bellezze di questa terra. Sarò felice di accogliere personalmente gli ospiti ed aiutarli, se lo vorranno, a programmare il loro programma di viaggio fornendo informazioni utili, liste di ristoranti e trattorie tipiche e consigli pratici.
L'appartamento si trova a pochi metri dalla piazza centrale del paese dove è possibile trovare una trattoria tipica, bar per la colazione e l'aperitivo, forni artigianali e panetterie, banca, pizzerie da asporto, tabaccai, fruttivendolo, supermercati, farmacia: tutti servizi raggiungibili a piedi. A pochi minuti dall'appartamento la zona naturalistica "Le more" permette rilassanti passeggiate al tramonto tra ulivi e macchia mediterranea. Spongano è un punto di partenza strategico per scoprire il Salento senza infiniti chilometri in auto: a pochi minuti dalle acqua cristalline di Castro (la perla del Salento) e dalle incantevoli scogliere dell'Adriatico, a circa 20 minuti dalle spiagge di Otranto, a 30 minuti da Lecce. L'entroterra ti aiuterà a scoprire la vera essenza del Salento!
