Cozy apartments located in a property that enjoys a panoramic view of the Castello dei Conti and is located in the heart of the historic center of Modica, known as the "City of a hundred churches" and famous for its chocolate. - APT FLOOR 1 (3 guests) with kitchen, bedroom with double bed and a single folding bed and bathroom with washing machine (NO bidet); - APT FLOOR 2 (2 guests) with kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom (with bidet) and small terrace. FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, air conditioning with heat pump (split in the bedroom), drying rack, soundproof windows and hairdryer. The dryer is located in the common corridor on the first floor and is shared with the apartment on the upper floor. PLEASE NOTE: - There some steps inside the apartments. - Small pets allowed on request and upon payment of a supplement. PLEASE NOTE: the power of the house is 3 kw. Be careful when using multiple appliances at the same time.
The apartment is located in the heart of the historic center of Modica. The city boasts several treasures declared "World Heritage" by UNESCO and is famous for its chocolate, prepared according to an ancient recipe. The city is divided into Modica Alta and Modica Bassa and, among its points of interest, it is worth mentioning the imposing Cathedral of San Giorgio, in Baroque style; the "Castello dei Conti", a castle of medieval origin; the birthplace of Salvatore Quasimodo; the unmissable Chocolate Museum; and, finally, Corso Umberto I, the main street of the city (we advise you to buy and taste the typical local chocolate at the "Antica Dolceria Bonajuto" and the "Caffè dell'Arte"). Furthermore, less than half an hour by car from Modica, it is possible to reach Marina di Modica, Sampieri and Pozzallo, all seaside resorts. - Corso Umberto I: 4 minutes on foot; - Salvatore Quasimodo's birthplace: 4 minutes on foot; - Chocolate Museum: 5 minutes on foot; - Cathedral of San Pietro: 6 minutes on foot; - Castello dei Conti: 9 minutes on foot; - Cathedral of San Giorgio: 11 minutes on foot.
