La Naca della Taranta is a small Salento company founded by Francesca, a law degree and Bocconi Master's degree who decided to recover old family properties and make them places where those visiting Salento can find a magical and comfortable place. Three structures: La Naca sul Mare in Santa Maria al Bagno, overlooking the Ionian Sea, the Naca della Taranta, a B/B in the heart of Salento in Galatina, the city of pasticciotto and tarantism, and finally an extraordinary historic residence opposite castle of Otranto, on the Adriatic Sea, overlooking the Otranto canal.

La Naca sul Mare is a complex of 5 suites 50 meters from the sea in the center of the splendid Marina of Santa Maria al Bagno near Gallipoli. They are particularly suitable for a relaxing holiday by the sea. It is possible to easily reach on foot both the very fine sandy beach and the area with low cliffs. Nearby there are several bars, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, ATMs, post offices and haberdasheries. Each Suite in Santa Maria al Bagno consists of a living room with kitchenette, sofa and table with chairs, a double bedroom and a large private bathroom. The entire structure is built taking care of every little detail entirely in stone, glass and iron, natural elements. Inside there is air conditioning, independent heating, Wi-Fi, kitchenette with combined microwave oven, 40” 4K LED smart-TV, telephone and hairdryer.

Santa Maria al Bagno, in Salento, offers many options for tourists. You can start with a walk along the beautiful fine sandy beach, perfect for relaxing in the sun. The crystal clear sea is ideal for snorkelling and discovering the rich marine life. The historic center, with its small square overlooking the sea, is full of restaurants and bars where you can savor the local cuisine. You cannot miss a visit to the Torre del Fiume di Galatone, an ancient watchtower. Finally, it is advisable to visit the Museum of Memory and Hospitality, which tells the story of the displaced people during the Second World War.
