Whether you need advice on what to visit, how to get around, or where to find the best local restaurants, I’ll be happy to help you discover everything this wonderful place has to offer.

The apartment is located on the second floor of a condominium; it is spacious, bright, and equipped with all the comforts. It features a private balcony with a lake view, perfect for enjoying breakfast or relaxing at sunset, and a fully equipped kitchen for those who love to feel at home even on vacation. Private parking is included, but I recommend arriving with a small car as the typical lake roads are narrow yet charming.

Oliveto Lario is a small, local village, far from mass tourism, where you can experience the lake authentically. We are in the hamlet of Vassena, a quiet village surrounded by nature, perfect for those who love peace and connection with the surrounding landscape. It’s not a large center, but it offers everything you need for a rejuvenating holiday, with nearby beaches and scenic trails.
How to get here:
• Nearest airport: Orio al Serio (Bergamo).
• Nearest train station: Lecco (Como San Giovanni is 1h30 away).
• I recommend arriving by car, preferably a small one, as the lake’s characteristic roads are narrow and typical of the area.
What to see and how to visit the villas on Lake Como:
Lake Como is famous for its historic villas, many of which have been the sets of famous films. Among the most iconic:
• Villa Balbianello (Lenno): Known for “Star Wars” and “007 - Casino Royale,” reachable by boat or on foot via a beautiful path.
• Villa Carlotta (Tremezzo): Renowned for its botanical gardens and works of art.
• Villa Melzi (Bellagio): Located just a few minutes away, with romantic gardens overlooking the lake.
I recommend planning a boat tour of the villas to fully enjoy the beauty of the lake and its surrounding landscapes.
